Senior Consultant Sustainable Building

The position

Using your broad and substantial knowledge of sustainable building and energy technology, you advise our clients on realising sustainable districts and on very energy efficient to energy neutral or even energy producing houses and buildings.

Through your network you acquire new assignments. You often act as a project leader in projects in which you achieve the best possible sustainable solutions for our clients.

In addition, you contribute to the development of new products and services and to the supervision of the medior and junior consultants. Of course you work closely together with your colleagues in the process. Because of your knowledge of the current developments with regard to sustainable building, you are capable of going off the beaten track in order to come up with innovative solutions.

Your profile

With regards to content, our candidate is an equal partner in construction teams and has demonstrable experience in the application of numerous building techniques and sustainable materials to reach structural engineering solutions in realising the projects. You are commercially driven and know how to bring the projects towards a successful conclusion. You are proactive and a good team player. You know how to combine your practical and theoretical knowledge of techniques and systems into novel insights and solutions.

To meet the demands of this position you have:

• a university degree
• a minimum of 5 years working experience and a network of relations amongst clients and developers in the building trade.
• substantial theoretical knowledge of and practical experience with building and installation technologies, to which you can add the ability for strategic and conceptual thinking.
• extensive project management experience and experience with supervising teams in complex assignments.
• excellent insight in current market developments regarding sustainable building
• excellent oral and written command of English and Dutch
