In relation with rapidly expanding business in the field of biogas applications and anaerobic wastewater treatment, Ecofys seeks to expand its biogas team with an applied

Process Technologist

The position

The focus of the position will be on technical designs of systems for anaerobic wastewater treatment and biogas application for the agro-industry worldwide. Job duties will include design of anaerobic systems to concept level, with at times the preparation of specifications to basic and detailed level.

Your profile

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree in civil, sanitary, hydraulic design of waste(water) treatment systems or similar. Experience with technical design of anaerobic waste and wastewater treatment systems and/or CAD design will be highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business, science, engineering, or equivalent subject.
  • Masters degree, MBA, PhD would be beneficial.

Skills

  • Project management.
  • Lead generation and proposal writing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English.
  • Strong commercial attitude and entrepreneurial skills in identifying and seizing opportunities in a competitive market place.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency/Proficiency in another language would be highly beneficial.

Personal qualities:

  • Have a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ).
  • Actively work on developing and maintaining relationships.
