Within the Innovation of Energy Systems group of Ecofys Poland we are looking for a:

SENIOR ENERGY MODELLING ENGINEER

The position

The focus of the position will be conceptual and numerical modelling of sustainable energy systems, to enhance our knowledge position and to lay a firm groundwork for the research and development projects within Innovation of Energy Systems of Ecofys. Job duties will include the development of energy system concepts, as well as numerical models in Matlab, Mathematica and/or C++, for a wide variety of sustainable energy solutions (e.g. greenhouse climate control, heat exchanger arrays, novel wind- and wave energy turbines, etc.). In addition you will be required to validate models to measurement data, support data acquisition and processing and design and implement numerical techniques for efficient model calculations. The job also includes project management, quality control and the coaching of junior staff members.

Your profile

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in physics, physical chemistry or equivalent and several years of experience in numerical modelling. Specific knowledge of, and experience in either thermodynamics, aerodynamics or hydrodynamics will be highly valued.
