The ICT department has 40 FTEs and consists of two clusters: ICT Service Desk and Operations with employees located in five different countries. ICT Service Desk team delivers and maintains all ICT related services to Econcern as a whole

Ecofys Poland is currently looking for an FTE within ICT Service Desk:

 

JUNIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Poznan (Poland)

The position

First line support for all our offices:

  • Systems administration within Windows environment
  • Providing users with professional support via phone (both in Polish and English) and via ticket system
  • Answering technical questions and taking care of the hardware
  • Diagnosing and solving common incidents
  • Passing more complex incidents to the second line support

Junior System Administrator will be working in an international environment, both independently and in a team. He/she will work accordingly to guidelines and procedures but will be also able to make judgment calls, balancing the interests of the user on the one hand and those of the company as a whole on the other.

We require

  • Higher education or student (technical subjects)
  • Very good oral and written command of English
  • Good knowledge of the Windows environment (2000, XP)
  • Knowledge of administering within a Windows 2003 domain
  • Up to date knowledge of current hardware
  • Understanding basic IP networking principles
  • Experience in working with ticket systems
  • Very good communication skills and service oriented mindset
