Knowledge transfer

By providing services in the field of knowledge transfer and instrument development Ecofys aims at increasing knowledge and success rates when implementing policies and by doing so accelerate the development and acceptance of sustainable energy technologies.

Courses

  • Together with roof specialist BDA, Ecofys developed a course "Designing and implementing PV projects"
  • Ecofys organised and held a course on "Renewable energy in buildings"

Workshops and conferences

  • For WWF International Ecofys organised a large international conference on energy efficiency
  • For the members of the IEA Greenhouse Gas Programme committee Ecofys organised a two-day workshop about CO2 capture and storage
  • For the Polish Ministry of Economic Affairs Ecofys organised a workshop about the development of renewable energy in the EU
  • For the Dutch Organisation for Energy and Environment (Novem) Ecofys organised a strategic workshop on cleaner liquid and gaseous fuels
  • For the Renewable Energy certificate System (RECS) Ecofys organised several board meetings
  • Ecofys developed and held workshops for companies in several European countries

  • For several international energy companies Ecofys drew up papers on renewable energy market developments
  • For the Renewable Energy certificate System (RECS) Ecofys drew up a paper on green certificates in the European market
