Senior Consultant -

Energy and Climate Strategies

Location: Poznan or Warsaw

The position:

• Acquiring, managing and running projects in the area of technology, policies and markets concerning energy and climate issues
• Representing company outside and strengthening its market position by presenting and implementing solutions fulfilling customers’ needs  
• Evaluation and design of renewable energy and climate policies (incl. the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and CDM/JI)
• Assessment of energy conservation and emission reduction potentials and costs (including benchmarking of energy efficiency)
• Assessment of market opportunities for renewable energy, energy conservation and emission reduction technologies and projects and/or future climate commitments
• Identification and evaluation of practical requirements and impacts of new policy frameworks or policy instruments on society, economy and environment and assisting them in developing new approaches
• Co-operation with the group manager and other colleagues from the international Energy and Climate Strategies group

Your profile:

• University degree in science, engineering, environmental or equivalent subject
• Several years of professional experience in consulting services concerning renewable energy or climate
• Knowledge of the energy and climate policy framework
• Good oral and written command of English
• Strong commercial attitude and entrepreneurial skills in identifying and seizing opportunities in a competitive market place
• Analytical, conceptual and innovative thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel
