Our office in Beijing is looking for a:
Technical Director / Biogas and Wastewater Treatment
The position:
- Designing high organic load wastewater treatment systems with anaerobic and aerobic technologies;
- Complete technical assessments of biogas project opportunities and technology choices;
- Provide consulting advice to groups assessing and developing various types of biogas projects in China;
- Assist with creation of engineering drawings, projects plans and budgets;
- Cooperate with technology providers and customers on project construction and commissioning;
- Deliver ongoing technical services to operating projects;
- Domestic travel will be required; international travel is possible.
Your profile:
- Previous experience in water treatment, with experience in anaerobic method and biogas utilities strong preferred;
- Significant experience in project management, with strong technical and business management skills related to project construction and commissioning;
- Proven expertise in biogas technologies and implementations;
- Putonghua is your first (native) language, and you are fluent in English;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
- University graduate with a technical degree, and 10+ years of related work experience;
- Personal interest and commitment to developing sustainable energy technology in China.
